Sports medicine was once perceived as a discipline concerned only with repairing athletes' traumatic injuries.  Today it is recognized as a medical science that expands our understanding of the body's integrated response to all forms of physical activity.  Atlantic Health provides active children and adults with a comprehensive approach to sports medicine including the prevention and treatment of injuries.
